This is tiresome.
I am posting this because I am honest.

As you can see, I’m up. As you can probably surmise, I’m not sticking to 1500 calories a day. If I were, I’d be losing.
Thinking back to when I did this five years ago and lost 69 pounds before giving up, I’m going to try to approach it the same way. What’s different this time is that my behavior needs to be modified…and, to do so, it needs a kick in the ass.
It’ll get one tomorrow. I’ll tell you about it then.

Andy- I admire you for MANY reasons and your honesty is definitely high on the list. I am in awe of how open and honest you are on this site. I don’t think I could do it. I try to hide from the world rather than put myself out there for all to see and judge.
That said… please do NOT get discouraged by the lack of progress. Based on your writings, you’re doing so many of the right things that the progress will come.
I’m not giving you excuses but here are a couple of realities… You’re doing this at a time of the year that its hardest. The holidays scream yummy food to consume with friends and family. Also, winter in the upper Midwest is at its most brutal right now. We’re getting hit with the crazy cold along with snow. This is weather meant for hibernating!
So go give yourself a quick kick in the arse and never forget that you have many friends to journey thru life with.
Hugs!
